the best days of our lives.....

this post is specially dedicated to my 2 best friends jenna and yamuna. the friendship we have i will never ever trade for anything else in the world. i love you guys so very very much and what ever that has been said and done, no matter what, we're still sisters in the end and that's all that matters.
well guys, here are a few things of our time together we'll never ever forget.

1. rmb jen, the friday before same begun i called you for the first time after our fight and i found out tht you're gonna be doing sam in taylors. he he he!! then when i registered i requested for the same class you were in. tht was the best move ever i reckon, the medicine to our friendship....then yam called and she was like im coming to do sam in taylors!! he he he...and we asked her to request for G8 also...and tht's how we formed the AWESOME THREESOME!!!!

2. the first place we went to makan......Chicken Rice Shop!!, yeah, and tht's where jenna met her "gorgeous" chicken rice shop boy who only she thought was gorgeous...for christ sake jenna get your eyes checked k!! then yam met her tarzan...he he he, whole semester of stalking him. rmb jenna once yam walked the other way to d-block just so tht she can bump into him. ;) yam girl, where's ur maruah la? oh ya forgot.....long time parunthu pochu!! hehehe! and of course mr. sunil deep singh!! argh, his goo goo doll eyes!! he was one fine thing la. but of course nothing beats mr.cute and hunky version 1 no? ha ha ha...its funny we only noticed him during the award presentation ceremony. we had one whole yr of him didnt we...poor prakash was having a hard time, but who cares i was having fun!! WOOOHOO!!!
(sorry babu, me loves ya ;)) then we had george of the jungle who looked like jesus christ who ended up going to the same church as prakash and we found out his name. yeah and we had more chicken rice boy la....*shrugs* jenna has really peculiar taste i tell you. moving on...

3. our class G8, how we hated it at first didnt we, all the teachers didnt quite like us coz we were always having our own conversation at the back of the class...poor mr. sam, how we used to bully him. and he's such a sweetheart, never raised his voice at us. oh rmb his obsession with yen tang and how it drove me up the wall!! he's forever saying, "oh this prob only ppl like yen tang can do." well, its a gd thing yen tang left!! couldnt stand him la, forever with his talk abt manipal and all tht..cant believe he actually called my mum and talked for almost an hour!! then there was the bloody faggot mr.lee, he was one big pussy la! wonder how tht ass is coping in the uk with his retarded english. he he he! he is the worst chemistry lecturer one can get. rmb he used to tell us "ya'll aim for b enough ma." so much for motivating your students. then you have ms Ting you lives in a world of her own, where her fashion sense must've rocked coz no one in their right mind would ever wear what she wears to college. her english classes were boring and funny at the same time. it's somewht like a bad joke no? well, jenna rmb how she told ur mum tht ur english need improving!! ha ha ha....i mean like YOUR english is like on a league of its own and she could say tht. tee hee..oh well, mrs ong was a class fav no? "jenna, did u bring your worksheet?" he he he, rmb once you forgot to bring your work sheet again and you went and got jovina's paper, and she almost believe that it was yours!! ha ha ha...but she was a sweetheart wasnt she. the most caring and dedicated teacher ever. then there is Mr. Munintharan Sundram...he used to call yam and me "papa"..tht one some big time thug in taylors la. and his gay r/ship with mr.sam!! he he, everytime he gives out our test papers he'll gv some bigtime doomsday speech. well, overall, he was not too bad la.

4. futsal tournament was awesome!!! ive never been amongst so many guys in one place la. the only girls there were our class ppl and we were the only 3 indian girls in the whole place. ha ha ha! jenna's cute and hunky 2 and my cute and hunky 1 was playing futsal...EEEP!!! rmb when cute and hunky 1 took of his shirt, shit man!! he's so fucking hott!! bod damn nice la...*grins at prakash* ;) and of course bloody fucker yohann's team had to win. there was almost gonna be a fight there rmb. all the team captains were coming up to me and asking me abt the style of the game coz most of them only got to play one match. and rmb tht "nattan" team which took back half their money. jesus christ, some ppl just dunno wht is meant by charity la!! all in all it was a gd event. the funniest thing is when we poured bottles of water on munin and he didint even see it coming.

5. TURTLE TRIP!!! possibly the best 3 days of last yr....sleeping under the stars, rmb how we giggled so much!! mrs ong kept asking us to shut up!!lolz..i think we scared almost a dozen turtles away..one day was teasing jenna night and the other was teasing yam night. yam, im sure you agree with me when i say teasing jenna night was the funniest!!! sigh...rmb jenna was bathing and you came up with the brilliant idea of scaring the shit out of her. we started scratching the bathroom wooden walls and knocking on the glass. she quickly came out and we scared her from the back. she was so petrified. and later when we were playing cards with jowena and harkeerat and tht gang she was so quiet. so unlike jenna...she didnt say anything!! ha ha ha!! then she took a "roll" instead of a stroll down the beach....he he he! and the next morning she was covered with sand everywhere...;) aiseh man, she's a clutz la tht jenna piggo! and not forgetting how she slipped and almost went tumbling into the pool of water when we visited the waterfalls. and her pants got wet!!! ha ha ha ha...*im seriously having stomach cramps di laughing abt all this shit* it was seriously holiday mode for us la..ha ha ha! i really dindt wanna leave. it was so nice just spending such quality time together with no stress whtsoeva. *hugs*

6. yes yes.....next is the bitches of taylors!! ha ha ha....one long list la we had no? cicak gang, leader cicak was all mushy with C&H2 and black cicak was all mushy with C&H1, and the pandang slacks we got!! then there was the scrawny ass tht dressed like an old lady, and M**P***T cow..ha ha ha, when i heard her speak for the first time i almost burst out laughing!! looks of a woman and voice of a man..ha ha ha! she only had this thing with jenna la! ya la jenna, look so bitchy like tht attracting all this kinda ppl!! haiyo...problematic woman la you!!

7. our klang kainge- Melawis Jenna (who's always late for the bus..;), Mastika Yam, Dato Dollah Priya, Pokok Sakat Rube, That side Maya, Blue (bloody piece of porn), and Klang Jaya Prakash....ha ha ha! damn awesome bus gang la. and of course we had bloody imposters during mid sem tht tore our big bus gang apart. tried to be one of us la....too bad we were just to awesome for tht certain someone. we also had the teapot cru lead by jennani magandran. All the stupid shit we did on the bus la, jenna tore 1 skirt and 1 pants on mr ho's bus, yam and her special bonding time with a certain species when jenna, ruben and i were making funny faces at the cars behind. only much later we realized tht they could see us! *smacks head* mayayuktes and their funny positions...lolz! me and my baby cuddling up..he he he! i miss our bus rides..

8. yam's bday....rmb how we planned a surprise bday treat for her to sumway lagoon after college on her bday. we brought her bathes and towel and t shirt. the whole day we were lugging around 2 big plastic bags and we were saying "today should be a sun shiny day as our sunflower yam is celebrating her bday" and she had no clue abt we were up too. after the long planning, the bloody cab driver blows it in the end by saying out loud way we were headed. ARGH!!! couldve kicked him real hard la. anyways, we had fun didnt we, just the four of us including praxxy poo!!

9. last on the list would be sam prom!! twas such a wonderful event. three sexy gorgeous gossipping maami's all dressed to kill. i had so much fun tht night, major contibuting factor being slow dancing with sahadeva!! he he he....taking tons of pictures, just chilling with the G8 ppl. sigh..loved it man. oh and everybody believed our (jenna and i) rumour abt yam and navindran hitting it!! ha ha ha....cant believe even after prom ppl were still asking us abt it. poor yam, im sure there are some ppl who still think tht you and navindran were an item. ha ha!

anyways guys, thts abt all the things i can rmb abt last yr...if there's anymore kindly add on. love you guys so much, and im missing ya'll dearly. can't wait to get back and lepak together like the old days. i hope we remain friends forever. muaks muaks!!

three gays and a girl

yeah, the poor girl stuck amidst three gay "blokes" is no other than yours truly. it is true that my boyfriend prakash is and was a gay all along. of all the people, kai and naviin are his gay partners.*smacks head* yeah, jay you're yday's news i believe. devestated i am...but as the saying goes, if you can't fight em' join em'...sounds bad no? well its not tht bad..the foursome conversation yday was awesome! though, kai disappeared very frequently (one can only imagine wht he must've been up too). naviin and i were arguing over prakash. naviin no matter wht you say, prakash is and forever will be mine!! he loves me more than you! la la la la la la la ;p, prakash, very obviously had his ego flattered yday. well, every dog has its day!! he he..besides that, the guys started the 'showdown of the obscene smiley'...one wonders how can someone take something so pure and innocent such as a smiley and make it so vulgar. but then again, maya did suck out the innocence from ding dong bell pussy in the well..so it is not impossible. after that, marc joined us and gave us his input on hamburgers and some guy stuff was going on. i was blur..then ee may joined the conversation and we were having some girl talk! ha ha ha! girls rock. anyways, the argument abt who owns prakash started all over again between naviin and i. kai refused to commit!! idiot!! *off with his head!!!* anyways, i'm consoling myself, me lesbian partner anitz coming to visit me tmr, she's staying over for 2 nights i reckon. we gonna rock it hard baby! wee...the conclusion of this fairly odd post is tht i'm hot!! (ignores kai's sarcastic comments). come on babe, you can't live in denial forever. he he! peace out!

a tale of bollywood glitz and glamour and the pacific islands

throughout the 10 days of the commonwealth games various activities were held at fed square and alexandra gardens. on wednesday there was supposedly a indian bazaar. so my friend connie and i made our way all the way to alexandra gardens only to find out that we had hit the pacifics! the "indian bazaar" was just a row of food shops...pathetic, i know! anyways, so we watched the sexy males from the pacific islands due their thing with the drums, it was so bloody awesome! they were off course accompanied by sexy pacific island "coconut" women. ;) guys, stop drooling k! after their jaw dropping performence, we were enlightened by the water show on the yarra river. each nation was represented by a fish and they had models of the fish along the yarra river. they were so pretty, all litted up and all. the background music had an african melody to it. i was thinking of "the lion king" he he! anyways, after that connie and i said tht we had had enough and were on our way back home when we heard reggae!! so we boogied to jamaican reggae all night long. it was really really good music i tell you. we felt like as though we were at the carribbeans..after it ended we were high on good music, and my god, i'd felt so content with my day. it was awesome! anyways, then yday my frens and i went to watch sunidi chauhan life in concert. the best part was IT WAS FREE! he he!! if you guys dunno who the hell im talking about, she's the person who sang 'my dil goes hmm' and 'whts going on' from salaam namaste and she sang the song sushmita sen danced to in the movie fiza. sunidi's voice was totally breathtaking. she's the indian version of whitney houston. her voice is amazingly powerful. the best part of the whole day was that shantini, saree, anju and nina joined me! so we were dancing away twd's the end of the concert. indian ppl are real party animals, nothing about them had changed at all...even the whistling! ha ha ha! so we were on another music high again! followed saree and gang back to monash and cracked up there as well. mostly shantz and i. anju and nina were tired and saree was with her msn. he he he! saree got work art done on her face without her knowing. (while she slept), off course urs truly and shantz had something 2 do with it. finally we got tired and went to bed. it was a really really good day! enjoyed it to bits. signing off now! toodles!!

opening of the 2006 commonwealth games

well, i'm sure you guys back at home watched it on tv in malaysia...but i was a whole lot closer!!! woohoo....well, not in the stadium but at federation square off flinders street. there's a really huge screen at fed square and they were screening the opening ceremony there. you guys shouldve seen the crowd. massive...thousand over ppl. its a good thing it was open air and melb is cold at night so you dont actually feel stuffy. the event started at 7.30 aussy time but i only got there at 9.45 reason being i was assigned kitchen duty tht night. *drat!!* by the time i finished one hr of scrubbing plates and cutleries my poor soft and smooth palm was blistered. my freind and i only left college abt 9 and by the time we caught the tram was 9.30 and the bloody tram stopped at lonsdale street which is abt 10 minutes walk from flinders. so yeah, we had to walk. melb city is so beautiful at night. i took pictures to put on my blog but im having some problem with the bloody software so its gonna take some time before you guys can see them. well, then connie and i found somewhere to sit and we enjoyed every minute of it. at the end we saw the fireworks....ah, truly splendid. quite upset though tht we didnt get to see the opening fireworks. i have to say the atmosphere at the square was great that night. so many diff ppl from all over the world were gathered at the square. "united by the moment." connie and i were so touched by delta goodrams song 'we are one' that all the way back, and trust me it was a long way back as we walked all the way from flinders to our college (45 minute walk), we were talking abt world peace. sigh, if only the world was a better place for all of us to live in. the morning after, we found out that the view from yarra river was so much more better, and they got to see the passing of the baton, the fishes and the queens tram. *curses* well, there's still the closing, so no worries there. oh and i found out tht one of my guy friend is gay as he was so making out with his bf at the opening ceremony! hmm...oh well, thts it for the melbourne 2006. before i leave let me just say this, ' malaysia won a gold for weightlifting 56 kg!! woohoo!!!!!!!!!' keep up the good work guys!! one proud malaysian cheering ya'll on in melbourne. yeah!

orang dusun australia

somethings just never fail to get your attention, piss you off and make you shake your head countless number of time. this is the story of a ulufied aussy bitch which caught my attention today by saying something really degrading, to the australian nation that is.

it was high table dinner today. high table dinners are formal sit down dinner where everyone wears their robes and have dinner with the administrators of the college. anyways, dinner was served and everybody was helping themselves with the delicious roast chicken and potato and beans. small conversations were going on and jokes were cracked and so on. i was sitting with my asian friends and we were joined by this really nice australian guy and these two austalian girls. we were all having a fairly decent conversations with each other. after some time, while i was talking to my malaysian pal james, one of the aussy chick asked me "hey priya where are you from again?", i told her that i am from malaysia and she proceeded to ask me " are you unusually dark for a malaysian?" you tell me how the fuck am i suppose to respond to that idiotic nonsensical question? i just abruptly said no and returned to my more civilized conversation with my fellow MALAYSIAN friend james. off course i had my friend judy from india trying to explain that my colour was because i am of sri lankan origin. seriously, i can't believe that they were having a conversation about my colour! i mean does colour even matter? this just shows you that some so called "civilised" nations aren't civilised at all. i mean the fucking american president did a good job portraying tht didnt he? sometimes people are so absorbed in their own lives they fail to realize global issues or even explore other cultures. (things to note melbourne is supposedly a multi racial city) australian newspapers are full with national news and literally no international news ok. even the ones that are there are so irrelevent. why talk about australians when some asians don't even know the difference between an indian and a malay. james was telling me that this singaporean chinese kept calling this indian boy who's name was skantha (but ppl call him skan) iskan. then james asked him why the hell was he calling skan tht and the boy replied oh isnt skan short for iskandar? isnt he malay? and ppl, skan looks indian from the tiniest hair on his head till his pinky toe. james told him no he's indian and the boy reply indian malay arent they the same. people here think just because we indian, chinese and malay ppl are malysians therefore we are malays. oh btw, another thing to add is, the indian community outside malaysian are highly specific where they are from ok. no joke. if you say you're indian, tht means you're from india or from indian descent. if you're sri lankan you're from sri lanka. so off course i was CORRECTED every half second. its madness k. anyways, i think i've vented enough. there everythings out and i feel much better.

feel free to think wht you want and leave your comments. thats it for now. definately will here from me soon. cheers!!

the WET experience?

ha ha ha...no i didnt get wet literally neither did i get 'wet'....instead last night the gang of international students at my college, including me *duh!!* hit this club called watermark. more than the experience the scene was truly magnificent. the club was located right at the side of victoria harbour. B.E.A.Utiful place....once again, another romantic spot *sobs..no prakash* so now abt the club, well i was happy because it was a real club club and not a freaking pub come club. the senior who took us there was a VIP so we got one free bottle of champagne and we didnt hv to que up in the cold. ;) and for the first time in my life i actually had a tequila shot. as jenna said, "aiseh, we all still sitting at asia cafe having sugarcane and maami here having tequila!" lolz...anyways, i dindt know tht there was a method to drink tequila. 1st u gotta put salt on ur fist then lick it. 2nd drink the shot and 3rd bite the lime in ur mouth. he he he...pretty awesome. DUN ROLL OF UR CHAIR LAUGHING K!! first timer here, permit to be a bit enthusiastic about it. anyways, then they started la the awesome music...dragged my aussie fren leanne to the floor, yeah she was the only local among the internationals...isnt she awesome!! initially she was suppose to come back with me during my trip to msia in june but her parents said that it was too expensive and she gotta earn the money. so maybe next yr la. anyways so then all of us were shaking our sexy booties to the groovy music. gotta admit that the remix's were awesome but the choice of songs can improve. my favourite though was gold digger and run it. "get down girl go ahead get down" *sniggers* sigh... i had so much fun with ppl i barely know just imagine hitting the clubs with my friends back at home. this morning, i was terribly homesick. only got home at 4 and i had to get up at 8.30 for kitchen duty and then went back to sleep. then got up for lunch and slept again, in the evening got up in time for dinner and then felt guilty so i did some work la. stupid cough is not going away!! almost 1 month now. ARGH!! anyways, gtg get my beauty sleep now. tmr's predicted to be a mad day. ttfn!

my tiramisu....oooh

its 10.20pm here down under and im eating this most delicious tiramisu cake ever. well, it'll be significant to point out the fact that it's my first ever time eating a tiramisu cake. deprived?...yes indeed...until now that is. "as it moves down my throat i feel the deepest satisfaction in life followed by a slight tingle down my spine...aaah my tiramisu, with a layer of coco powder on top of a thick layer of cream, you fulfilled my desires tonight!"

p.s: *in a very dramatic soap opera manner* " sorry prakash nothing much you can do to fulfil my desires tonight!! it's just me.... and my tiramisu." *prances off to savour more tiramisu*

i survived melbourne transportation system!!

yey! finally something interesting to blog about. anyways, on friday after uni i met my uncle raj at melbourne central and took the train to his house. it was a very short visit. but i was so emo when i entered my aunts hse, because the last time i was there my mum was there to greet me. so i just started crying. anyways, my aunt gave me a big hug and i felt much better. i was so happy to have chicken curry that night. it was so yummy! so i ate like a pig and ended up feeling like a stuffed turkey after tht. then i went online and chatted with my babu and my sis. it was so good just chatting with them. then abt 11 i went to bed. cried again coz mum was sleeping with me on tht bed last week. it's so funny that when i was with her for the last 18 yrs i never really made an effort to spend time with her and all, but right now i'll do anything just to have a minute with her. anyways, then next afternoon saree came picked me up and we went to monash. was staying over there. met up with shantini and her friend anju. had a blast that day. in the evening we cooked. how awesome was tht? we made chicken curry and stir fry mixed vege. and to our supprise it was pretty good. so we whacked it nicely. then saree and shantz heated up the chocolate cake until the icing melted and was spilling over the cake...it was so good...ah, we seriously sinned that night. and the best part is we ate the wonderful cake in the park nearby under the moonlit and starlit sky. so bloody romantic. so, after cracking stupid jokes and laughing our ass's off we headed back to anju's room, cleaned up and saree and i went to get our pillows and shantz went to get hers. met back at anju's room in 30 min and we set the bed and stuff and just laid down. shantz suggested nail painting so we took out anju's collection and started being creative. shantz did my nails for me, i was being a bum lying down on my tummy and not doing anything. he he he! but we had fun doing gurly stuff. then anju and shantz hit the sack and only saree and i were awake. i felt like an idiot when saree felt asleep soon after and i only realised after 3 minutes of yapping...he he he! oh well...so after tht i slept off too. next morning a took the bus to the local train station at 10.50 then immediately jumped onto the train to the city. so shit scared coz i was all on my own. got down at flinders st station. took the number 19 bus to college, and wallah, i was back "home!!" ;) so tht's my weekend in words. pretty good huh? oh well, ya'll tc and definately will receive updates from urs truly.

culture shock....oh yeah!

ok, aussy is so completely different from wht i expected it to be. let me first say i wasnt expecting much ok. the only thing i expected is for aussy's to be friendly and to hv tons of aussy friends. well, so much for tht hope. my first few days here at university college totally sucked. uni col is where i live, i know its called a college but actually its a hostel....crazy australians! so, we were divided into groups and i am the only asian in my group. it sucked!! none of the aussy's made an effort to talk to me or even to get to know where im from. i was starting all the conversation and after talking to me for 2 minutes they'd turn back to their cliques. so yeah, i was and am still pretty much alone. i cried so many times to mum and told her i wanted to come home. it was bad that she felt so guilty and felt extremely upset. she said i should gv it abt a yr and decide. well wht she says makes so much sense. i mean, i hv just got here, things arent gonna be a bed of roses for me being an international student and all. anyways, then i talked to prakash and saha, i tell you they both lifted my spirits with their encouraging words. best advice ever, " everytime you're feeling down just think of your goal. wht are you here to accomplish?" that just boosted my self confidence. i mean, i've worked my blooming ass off to get here. i'm not gonna let some stupid aussy's make me pack my bags and go home. sure i could do vet sc at upm but as saha said "do you want quality or environment?". well the lil me is saying well, quality is important but environment is equally important. wht's the point in studying in a place where you don't feel comfortable and not welcomed...anyways having all said and done i'm gonna get through this. i'm not coming back without my bvsc degree. it's been my dream since i was a lil girl and i've actually got a chance to make it come true. HELL YEAH I'M TAKING THE OPPRTUNITY AND STAYING ON!! anyways guys, just to let ya know, aussy isn't tht great a country. it's beautiful yes but it's never gonna be like home. there are plus points here like the freedom of speech and ppl dun gv 2 hoots abt wht you do or wear but malaysia seriously rocks!! it sure does hv it's up and downs but ppl are more hospitable there and the food rocks too!! i'm gonna end this post by saying MALAYSIA BOLEH!!

the best 2 minutes.

so yesterday i went to meet saree and we went over to her aunts place which was just few blocks down from my aunts. and once there they decided to take us to the mall as saree's aunt had something to do at the mall. so we went along and just walked and walked and walked. malls in aussy are just like the ones in malaysia except for the fact tht its white ppl and not asians and plus the clothes are way nicer. anyways then we were talking abt phone's and saree wanted to change her line to an optus line. so she wanted to finish up her credit. she called her friend in malaysia who was celebrating his bday and after 5 minutes her credit still hadnt finished. so i asked if i could msg prakash and she was like why dont you call. so i called prakash and got to hear his sweet voice after so long. argh......i miss him so much!! and that was the best 2 minutes of my life. well you know wht i've realised when ppl say long distance relationship is hard they don't mean tht you lose interest in tht person but emotionally its tough. i'm missing prakash like crazy and i hope he feels the same. anyways gotta run now! not literally though...oh well, good day!!

your queen,
:)

party of the yr!!

say whteva you want but the surprise farewell party thrown for me by my darling frens and my absolutely sweet boyfriend gains the title party of the yr in my books. it was so sweet of them to actually take the effort to cook stuff and attend the party. and the best part is, i've known these girls since i was a school kid. we practically grew up together. i don't think any other person in this world knows me better than these guys. namely michelle, ee may, davina, abby, jenna, koheela, maya, sheep, yamuna and anits. off course then there are the other awesome ppl whom i just got to know in college namely the G8-ers, kailash and adrien. also not forgetting my darling boyfriend who put together this whole party. prakash you're truly a gem and being the idiot i am i tool so long to realize that. well i've realised finally. thank heavens!! i was so touched that my ex classmates and kai actually came all the way from kl for this party. thanks guys!! you totally rock. after yesterday i truly realized that i'm so lucky to be blessed with such amazing sincere friends. i know we've had our up's and down's but to me that's how you really get to know a person truly. so i'll be in melbourne and all but i'll still keep in touch k. through msn and hotmail and definately via blog. thanks so much guys and i hope to see ya'll in june. :)

anger management 101...what shit?

ever felt like stranggling a person, or shoot them down, or run them over with a car, or just give them a huge punch on their face when they irritate you...well you better think again unless you wouldnt mind getting a lawsuit. well, how do you actually deal with anger? what is the most efficient way to deal with anger? is it to count until 100?, to lock yourself up in the room, blast the music and scream?, watch cartoons?, just forget about it?. well, áfter 19 years of existence on this god forsaken planet i've come to realize that the best way to deal with anger is not to get angry. in order for you not to get angry, don't care too much, have an open mind and always remember that all human beings on planet earth are apes. they're just screwed in their own ways ok. but definately its easier said than done no? even till this day i can't let things go easily. forgive fine, but never forget. that's just the way i am and probably because of that i'm quite temperemental. nevertheless, by not getting angry is definately the way la. you save lots of energy which could be of better use. plus you will look much much younger once you've cut down on the frowning (don't wanna look like a bull dog do you now?). though, an occasional rage would be good as you get your adrenaline pumping and give those lungs of yours some exercise. i'm sitting here writing this article while waiting for my dear boyfriend to come visit me after his football practice. btw he's 2 hrs late. well wht better alternative way of dealing with anger than to write an article on one. *grunts* later days....

your queen,

are you FORGETTING something??

people forget, we all know that. off course we tend to forget things that are not important to us and things that our brain does not recall. for example, remembering dates, or the fact that a familiar face just smiled at you, and even important requests from your girlfriends/boyfriends for a matter of fact. even though we can't help forgetting things it can be a real pain in the ass if it's something important you had to do for another person or even yourself. anyways, i've done my research and here are a few reasons on why people forget.

1. people tend to forget when theie brain is overloaded with things to remember. so if you're a busy bee and have tons of work to do please carry an organiser to jot down things so you'll rmb. and most importantly please rmb to look at the organiser!!!!

2. people who are anxious and depressed tend to forget things easily simply because they're not listening to a thing you have to say. so you smart ass's out there, when your friend is crying, don't go ask her if you can hit on her boyfriend coz she'd probably say yes so that you'll quit bugging her!!

3. people who have physical dissabilities such as blindness and hearing problems. i've got absolutely nothing sarcastic to say to this.

so anyways, my conclusion is if you know you've got a memory problem, please get your ass up and do something about it. saying i forgot is a lame excuse and the impression you would give on another person will most definately be BAD!!

p.s: mrs prasad came to the vet to buy cat food for her cat today.

your queen,
:)

just for you, my love.

before you i was broken,
and then you came and mended me,
i know i'll never be as secure and strong as i use to be,
but because of you im as strong as i'll ever be,

before you i was in a world of my own,
going with the flow,a stereotype, materialistic and egoistic,
you opened my eyes to the real world,
you showed me that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder,
you showed me love, so pure, so divine,

thank you for always loving me,
thank you for treating me like a woman,
thank you for believing in me,
and most importantly, thank you for being you,

i know i'll be gone in a month,
but baby even though i'm away you know we're never actually apart,
for there's a strong bond between our hearts,
and bitter sweet memories that will keep us alive until i'm in your arms again.

if you thought getting into uni is a breeze.....think again!!

i seriously don't know where to start. so september last year i got down to business and started my research on universities that offer veterinary science in australia. there were 5 in total and i picked 3, uni melb, uni sydney and murdoch. then IDP education australia had an open day and all the universities were going to be there. application fees were waived so more reason for me to apply then. so, made my appointments and all, and only submitted applications for uni melb and sydney. the representative of murdoch told me to submit my application when the actual results are released. this is the first phase. second phase begun when my results were released. made a photocopy of them and got it certified and sent it in to IDP. second phase was quick and easy but third phase, the process of waiting, is when all the trouble started. universities in aussy were closed for xmas and new yr and their offices only opened on the 4th of jan. so i waited and waited and waited. no reply!!! called IDP many times and they said still no reply. try and imagine my frustration....anyways, so mum and i went to their office and got contact numbers of the people dealing with international student admission in both melb and sydney. this was a friday ok. by the time we got home and called uni melb their office had already closed for the day, and they don't work on weekends. so had to wait for monday. when monday came, at about 7.30 in the morning mum called again. it seems that the bloody IDP hadn't sent my results in. so called them up and asked them why hadnt they sent my results and that idiot was like "oh actually the uni's can access your results online la." im like what shit la, then why did they require a certified photocopy of my results. i pested them for days, called and visited. by the time i got confirmation everybody there knew who i was. ;) anyways then sourced out accomodation, had to go through a phone interview and mail them a registration fee. so accomodation was confirmed. then i went online and cheked uni melb website and found out that orientation was on the 16th of feb. i panicked again!!! i had booked flight for the 21st....oh lord!! i tell you...mum had to call travel agent and he said not to worry he'll settle it. so fine...then dad money hadnt cleared so couldnt pay fee before deadline and can just imagine how pissed off i was. its tue and i havent got my visa done yet. and im leavin in 2 1/2 weeks and next week is chinese new yr. and we all know during chinese new yr the world stops spinning. anyways, im paying up tmr and hopefully my visa will be done before my departure if not i cant board my flight. oh well, phase 4 will begin when im in aussy so i'll be posting after the 15th. so, i guess this is it for now. you know, its true that things you really want in life dont come easy. well i guess its because things that do come easy once you get it you never really appreciate it. give it a thought. its really true and applies to all aspect of life. ttfn!!

death upon a beautiful saturday morning

Death,
an uninvited guest
bringer of great misery and sorrow
on a beautiful saturday morning

Death,
reunites family and friends
consoling hugs and shed tears
on a beautiful saturday morning

Death,
freedom to a soul that suffers
a pure soul that sets out on a journey
to reach HIS grace
on a beautiful saturday morning

ah that saturday morning,
a day of mourning, a day of prayer
clad in black, people came to pay their last respect
never forget it i will
for a person i love took his last breath
that beautiful saturday morning

in loving memory of labis uncle. i'll never forget the moment i've shared with you and all that you've done for me. may your soul rest in peace and find its way to the Lord.
Aum Nama Shivaya.

the art of fainting!!

so, its a brand new yr and i've got nothing to do. mum said to go volunteer at the nearby vet so thát i would gain some experience and knowledge plus that way i won't be lying around complaining i'm bored. so the day before my first day mum called dr. thomas to ask him if i could come hang out at his clininc and see what being a vet is all about. so the next morning i went to the clinic. dr thomas wasnt there yet so i was chatting with dr. cynthia. she's so fun to be with and to talk too. after approximately 15 minutes dr thomas walks in and asks me why i wanted to be a vet. well, i gave the same old ans "because i love animals." he said "most people love animals but that doesnt mean that they're cut out to be vets." oh well, then dr cynthia started her first case, a castration. i was there to view it off course. oh my god!, the ammount of blood that splattered out. gosh....i was hanging in there. the dogs testicles looked like pigeon eggs, or some soughta fish eyeball....well whatever it was, it was disgusting! a juicy piece of info for all the guys. to remove the testicles right, they actually squeezed the dog's balls until the testicle popped out. lolz! human castration would be the same you know. anyways, the sad part was the dog wasn't given enough anaesthesia so he was yelping away. i teared :( so after removing both testicles, dr cynthia was sewing him up. it was such a long process. lets say the average time of a surgery is 15 minutes, the dr spends about 9 minutes sewing up. anyway, so the smell of blood was in the air and my stomach suddenly felt very uncomfortable. my vision was getting blurry and everything in the room started spinning. next thing i know, BANG!!!! i fell down on this metal thing they use to hold drips. "oh my god!! what happened?" cried dr. cynthia. Dr. thomas came rushing in and sprinkled water on my face. then he carried me by my arm and placed me on one of the chairs at his front desk. i tried opening my eyes but the room was still spinning and this made the puking sensation get worse. so i kept my eyes shut and after 5 minutes opened them again. everything was still again. phew....dr. cynthia came out after the op and bought me orange juice to drink. once i was better i went in for the 2nd op of the day, a female dog was gonna have her tiubs tied and ovary removed. thank god i didnt faint this time! i felt much better. wee....I SURVIVED!! so yday i viewed 2 more surgeries. first one, this german shepard had a skin tumour and doc had to remove it, the next was tying of the tiub of a cat. i'm much more comfortable now in the operating theater, so i WON'T BE FAINTING IN 3RD YR VET!! :) anyway ppl, there's an abandoned dalmation in the clinic. 1 yr and 2 months old. owner doesnt want it anymore. anybody who's interested please come buy it. it's only RM400. if the dog doesnt get sold by chinese new yr dr. will have to put it down, because it's taking up space of other sick animals. till my next post!

its the end of one chapter and the beginning of another

wow, one whole year has gone by with a blink of an eye. it was only like yday when i was so thrilled tht i had got into college and was starting a new chapter of my life and here i am one year later doing the same thing. 18 yrs of my life flew by just like that. year 2005 was an experience like no other. college life was a rollercoaster ride on its own but you know wht, i don't regret one bit of it. i've been exposed to so many different type of people in college itself, i can only imagine the kind off people in the real world. scary thought, i know. but the most important thing is to know yourself and be focused. it's not all about the studies, it's about gaining experience through exposure. but yeah you gotta be focused too! it was really fun just hanging out with fren's and mastering the art of people watching. loved watching all the interesting clothes people would come in. i mean some are nice but some are just so weird. oh ya and need i remind ya'll about the celebrity wannabe's. jay sean, jay chao, kelly rowlands....;) lolz! i admit looking good is a MUST in college. but sometimes there are ugly days, where you put on a big ass shirt and jeans and sneakers. hairs in a mess and all...lolz! but anyway, this year was a blast! and for those of you who were part of it, especially the G8érs and prakash and the bus gang, thank you so much for this memorable year. ttfn!

HOLLYWOOD!! WOO HOO........

NO i did not go to hollywood in the USA but i did go for HOLLYWOOD holiday on ice with my in laws. it was a fantastic night out with them. well, thanks to me, we thought the show was at 8.00 and we were there super duper early. never heard the end of it in the car though....:) it was a really amusing ride there. ok, i know tht i was quite throughout the journey but i was actually just sitting back, relaxing while watching my in laws in action. it was quite amusing watching both sangy and aunty( prax's mum) giving prakash diff directions and in the background sangy was going "nit and a wit makes a nitwit." not very encouraging sangy, but wht are big sisters for if they're not meant to annoy you....shall conveniently exclude myself though. U CANT SAY ANYTHING FOR IM THE QUEEN!!! BLEH!!. *hugs prakash* neway, so finally we got there parked the car and que'd up to enter. got ourselves seated and the show started. wow, it was 2 hours of pure fun, astonishment and laughter. it was GREAT!! james bond was HOT!!! HOT i say just SIZZLING HOT!!. oh note to prakash: you've lost points for wanting to go closer to the ice to look under those ladies dresses when they twirl and flip. :^P neway to add to which couple of my school mates were also there, tht's because we all got the tickets from jenna. lolz!! thanks girl for the tickets k. for your kind deed you will get blessed by ME!!!
